Submitting To The Live Shops Section

Introduction

The Live Shops section is a world-wide listing of online stores that osCommerce is powering. All entries are submitted voluntarily by the store owner and are currently displayed on a country basis.

Please be aware that the osCommerce Live Shops section is only for the display of websites built using osCommerce as its base, and not for the display of any other type of shopping cart software - even those claiming to be variants of osCommerce. We also ask you to follow normal site submissions behaviour and not to submit your site multiple times.

Submitting your online shop to the Live Shops listing showcases it to the community and public where it demonstrates what can be done and achieved with the osCommerce solution.

In addition to submiting your online shop, receiving feedback on it from the community is also possible in the My Store forum channel on the Community Support Forums.

Live Shop Submission Guidelines

To submit your online shop to the Live Shops listingplease follow the following guidelines.

Live Shop Title

The title of the online shop submission should be kept to the title only as published on the online shop itself and not the url of the site.

Live Shop Description

The description of the online shop submission should describe the shop only and not contain any information about what project version or contributions has been used.

When writing a description write about something unique about your site that makes your store stand out from the rest of the stores in the category. A better description will also help us determine the correct category to place your site under.

Live Shop Address

The address of the online shop should be submitted as a fully qualified domain name, for example:

http://www.domainname.com

Live Shop Information Pages

If the online shop has information pages they should then contain the appropriate information related to the store and not be left with the default placeholder text. This information not only protects you but protects your customers.

Any of these pages listed and not filled out will not be listed in the live shops.
